There are many factors that are involved that induce a better “link”:
1. Authority score (or expert score) of the page (Natural external links pointing to the specific page your link is resident)
2. Internal link hierarchy and link naming conventions or breadcrumb paths to the page your link is resident on
3. Page “theme” > page title of the page your link is resident on
4. Page “theme” > title element of the page your link is resident on
5. Page “theme” > additional text copy (content) of the page your link is resident on
6. Totally number of links on the link from page comparable to your links
7. Your link anchor text (or image – where image is increasing becoming less beneficial)
8. PageRank of the page
9. Hub score of the page (which is a factor of many of the above noting outgoing links campare to incoming links)
10. Link position on the page where page top gains more than page bottom
