Holy Heart Failure, Batman!
I have spent months trying to figure out how in the heck to get a picture into a post. It’s actually been more than months,
I’d say 2 years because I kept trying to pictures up from Wilma. Couldn’t do it. Then I would get busy with other things and forget about it.
Today I was near tears. I can generally figure out those pesky little details but today was torture, at its most bizarre and terrible. It was starting to haunt me, I tell ya.
For the umpteenth time, I started searching the WordPress site about images not showing. Which was no help. Which leads me to another thought: as good as WordPress is, why can’t they make the program insert a picture where and when you want it? Should be a simple thing, I would think: it’s basic stuff right?
I ended up at google with my search, and bless my dustpan! I found a link to Lorelle’s blog which talks about this very thing. I scrolled thru her list of plugins (and honestly I don’t know why I didn’t think of a plugin before – I just naturally assumed I should be able to do it all by myself).
I don’t need, or want to host images on other sites. I can do basic image editing locally. All I want is to get a picture in a post.
I scrolled down to the comments, and found a suggestion for Copperleaf.
I downloaded it, installed it with no issues (ok there was one but it was my fault because I wasn’t paying attention) and now I can have pictures in a post.
I am truly excited.
I can upload all of my Parrot Jungle pictures, my hurricane pictures and anything else my little heart desires. Simply bog my blogs down with picture upon picture upon picture …..
The batcomputer is none too frisky today, Batman!
