Yippee! Stitches come out today!
But wait. It’s probably gonna hurt. It’s been 2 weeks; you know. Scabs and stuff. Believe it or not; I like staples better. Why? Staples hurt less when removed {they tend to start working themselves out} and there’s less of a scar.
After my accident; the plastic surgeon used both staples and stitches. You can barely see the scar where the staples were; but you can see plainly where the stitches were. After my c section I was comepletely stapled-and I didn’t have the normal csection cut because docs were afraid I’d bleed to death after all of the blood thinners I had to take thruout my pregnancy. You can barely see the scar today. It pretty much faded a few months after surgery.
