1. What were your favorite childhood stories?
The ghost of thomasina; Trixie Belden books. Any ghost/supernatural story had me hooked.
2. What books from your childhood would you like to share with [your] children?
Can’t remember them all off the top of my head. I’ve been buying hardcover classics for my
son since he was born. Robinson Crusoe; The time machine; war of the worlds, hardy boys…
Somehow I don’t think he’ll be a Little women fan.
3. Have you re-read any of those childhood stories and been surprised by anything?
No. I discovered Stephen King; Dean Koontz; Anne McCaffrey…..
4. How old were you when you first learned to read?
First grade. I remember it clearly. I brought home the red book, green book and blue book
and read them all in one weekend. It was all uphill from there.
5. Do you remember the first ‘grown-up’ book you read? How old were you?
No. I was allowed adult access in the library by the time I was in 3rd grade; it was most likely
a ghost story.
