Tropical depressions, storms and hurricanes Oh my!

One of the models show Jeanne taking the same path; almost, as Frances, coming across so fla; going to the gulf; and then coming back.

Then; here’s yer tropical forecast for tonight. Note specifically the bold; referencing the cape verde islands.

Hurricanes, revisited

Some dumb reporter just said “people are worried that Floridas’ luck is running out.”

Umm, I would say it already has, hello.

Hurricane

We made it thru ok; didn’t lose power, trees; or anything broken. Got real lucky in my area.

We did stay at moms – big mistake. Power did go off there; was off about 24 hours; came back on; some idiot didn’t hook their generator up correctly and it blew up about 5 minutes after the power came back on – BANG! – lucky mom didn’t have a heart attack. Power went off after that; not back on yet.

Now we just have to will Ivan away from us.

Interesting reading on More powerful storms

Considering we got hit with 2 hurricanes in one month; hmmmm…..

There’s alot to be said for electricity. I can’t imagine living without it. What’s the first thing I did when I got home?

1. Turned on tv
2. Turned on computer
3. got on the internet
4. took a hot shower.

How dat for priority?

This is a personal blog, and it spans over 14 years. You may see some cussing, ranting, a little weirdness and alot of stupidity. Oh, and whining.

Over the years I’ve used it to test things I maybe shouldn’t have messed with (innocent look), and I’ve tried to clean up but may have missed some stuff. You’ve been warned.
